Axent Capital Partners AG is a new company based on more than 60 years of experience of its founders and partners in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and the successful development and management of medium-sized companies. We invest in medium-sized manufacturing companies in the DACH region that are facing operational challenges, particularly in company succession situations.

Tobias Hundertmark has more than 30 years of extensive merger & acquisition experience in Europe (primarily in German-speaking countries and Italy), Eastern Europe (strong presence in Ukraine, Bulgaria and Romania) and the Far East (China, Hong Kong and South Korea). The transactions Hundertmark has advised on and been responsible for mainly include joint ventures and stake sales to strategic investors as well as minority and majority sales to leading private equity investors. In addition, Tobias has many years of experience in the management of a medium-sized group of companies. With the exception of post-graduate assignments at Price Waterhouse (management consulting) and Merrill Lynch Bank, Tobias has always worked as an entrepreneur.
Sebastian Knappe has been involved in advising on and implementing complex entrepreneurial projects for many years. This included, for example, the successful reorganization and realignment of a retail location in the DIY store sector. Sebastian not only has many years of experience as interim/crisis managing director of various automotive suppliers, but was also instrumental in setting up the German offices of Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, London, in Berlin and Frankfurt and gained extensive experience at Gleiss Lutz (2004-2013) with a focus on M&A, joint ventures, private equity, restructuring and project management. Sebastian Knappe has been a lecturer in the International Energy Economics and Business Administration Master's program at the University of Leipzig since 2009.
